Cheap Wedding Flowers That Don't Look Cheap
When my husband and I got married we were on a tight budget. We wanted our wedding to be outstanding, but at the same time did not have a lot of money to spend. We decided to write down a plan and split our money accordingly. One of the biggest things we saved on was the wedding flowers. We both wanted real flowers, but did not want to spend a lot of money on them. We decided to go to a florist and see what our best options were. She actually had a lot of cheap wedding flowers available, and the more you bought the more you saved. We picked pink roses, which were in season and definitely priced right.
The white roses as a bouquet was extremely pricey, so by getting a light shade of pink we were able to save a few hundred dollars. We also chose single roses for the bridesmaids, instead of little bouquets. Our wedding florist suggested in order to make cheap wedding flowers, you can stick with one single rose and fill it with inexpensive baby's breath. She showed us pictures and we were very satisfied.
Our picks were surely cheap wedding flowers, but by the arrangement you could not have known that we did not spend a lot of money. Remember presentation is everything, if you have a skilled florist and someone who is willing to work within your budget they can do wonders. You do not necessarily have to pick what is in the book, you can make your own arrangements and save big on money. Our florist showed us substitute flowers. Just like any other expensive thing, such as purses and shoes, you can find knock off wedding flowers.
We were able to stay well within budget and still have the flowers we wanted. In fact, everyone commented on our cheap wedding flowers, not that they looked cheap, but made the wedding glow.
