Wedding Speeches - Tips That Deliver
Have you ever been asked to give a celebration speech or toast at a wedding by your best friend, cousin, sister, brother, or even a colleague? This means you have been a special chosen one that gets the spotlight at this wedding! But don’t look at this as an inevitable chore, look at is as an honorable duty! Or have you even ever felt obligated to do so? If so, you will agree that this can be a very stressful task, and also nerve racking for some individuals!
One of the most very common toasts at a wedding is the Best Man's Speech. Many men don't feel comfortable pouring their hearts out to their best friend in front of hundreds of people, so they take the more humorous and comical approach. They try to make it memorable, and heartfelt, but also funny and enjoyable for their audience.
The best advice in making a speech or toast at a wedding is to remember not to be offending at all, (you may embarrass the groom but only to an extent!), and just have fun with it. If you're having fun, then, well, so is everyone else! The Bride’s Maid speech is a lot easier- go for the tear-jerking memories, and you’re set!
