Wedding planning is never stress or hassle free. There's almost always a hitch to getting hitched. Fortunately, most of the setbacks that come along fall into the realm of "annoying" rather than "cataclysmic". However, when the truly unexpected occurs, the expenses can begin to pile up quickly. This is when wedding insurance can really come through, not only saving a wedding, but helping a couple stick to their budget.
A lot of careful planning and preparation has gone into the big day. Vendors have been hand selected, the perfect venue chosen, hours have been spent picking just the right colors, dress and cake. None of this comes cheaply. It is a wise couple that sets a budget, and an even more astute pair that includes wedding insurance as part of their wedding preparations.
What is a couple to do when a natural disaster forces a cancellation? What if a vendor suddenly disappears, along with that hefty deposit? What happens if someone is injured at the wedding? Dress repair, damaged property, or a venue cancellation can all pose an unseen risk to the couple's budget. Costs can suddenly skyrocket far beyond what has been allotted for their special day. Wedding insurance can alleviate the burden of those unexpected expenses, allowing a wedding to get back on track, budget intact.
There is enough to worry about in planning for a wedding. Wedding insurance allows a couple the peace of mind of not having to concern themselves with the unexpected and helps couples stick to their budget.

Having the perfect dress for your wedding day can seem like the most important decision in your life, right next to finding the perfect man to marry. If the thought of spending hours in a bridal shop spinning through the racks doesn't feel like your cup of tea, consider buying your dress online. Waiting until the last minute, however, is not an option, because it takes time to make and ship a dress, and have it fitted, so be sure to plan well ahead of your wedding day.
Before you jump at the first dress you see that catches your eye, however, make sure you have your exact measurements to ensure a proper fit. It's important to find a professional dressmaker in your area that can measure you, as well as help with any alterations that may be needed once you have the dress. Make sure you also set a budget for your dress, including materials, deposit and shipping. No one wants to guess at sizing and pricing when money's on the line!
A thrifty option for wedding dresses would be online auctions, although many alterations might be required, which could become costly. Ask if there is any damage to the dress, what kind of material, how long ago was it made, etc. Or if you want something brand new, search for online dress shops that tailor to wedding dresses and formal wear. But be careful - if a dress seems like it's too good to be true, it usually is. Sometimes online dress shops will offer discounted dresses from weddings that were cancelled or dresses that are poorly made or worn. Designer dresses at a discount prices are usually knockoffs, so be sure to ask the manufacturer for specific details, like material and detailing, along with any pictures that might show close-ups of the dress from the front, back and side.
Once you decide to purchase your wedding dress online and are comfortable with your selection, make sure you check it out the minute it arrives. Check the material to see if it's exactly as the description read online, and that the detail is exceptional and of good quality. This is your wedding dress after all, so don't worry about scrutinizing and being picky! If it's not up to your standards, or fits improperly, make sure to contact the dress shop immediately to try and correct the situation.

Are you getting married soon but don't have much to spend? Then you are a bride in need of cheap wedding supplies. Just because they are inexpensive does not mean they are going to look cheap. You just need a creative mind and a little help from me.
If you are going to buy supplies, one of the best places to look are dollar stores. Most of the time they provide a wedding section with such selection as paper bells, plastic candy holders, gift cards, gift wrap, table cloths and candles pretty enough for anyone's table.
As for plants, check with friends and ask if they would be willing to buy a plant or flowers for the wedding decorations. You can use them at the alter of your choice and on the tables as center pieces. You may also be able to find plants at local stores, nurseries and shopping malls. When they get past a certain date they are thrown away. Many of them only need a little trimming and new ribbon to make them look good as new.
Put the word out you are in need of cheap wedding supplies and you'll be pleasantly surprised what people will come up with that they no longer need. You may even find yourself with one too many wedding dresses from bye-gone-days that are just taking up space in someone's home.
Ask friends to provide simple foods for your wedding such as cookies, drinks, deli trays and easy finger foods. But for the cake you'll want something special. Contact the local 4-H program and ask if they will bake a wedding cake for the cost of supplies and pictures. The 4-H members always need practice, but don't always know what to do with all the cakes once they are done.
Last choose a simple theme and location. Ask about a friend or family members back yard. Make sure you do the grooming of the back yard prior to the wedding and have someone available to clean the back yard after the wedding. You can have it as a simple wedding or perhaps make it an eco friendly wedding with foods, plants, natural fibers — you could even ask to receive "green" gifts.
You are now ready for your own beautiful wedding, and it will now be one that you can truly afford after making use of these ideas on finding cheap wedding supplies. May you always walk a path without financial worries because you made the right decissions from the day you walked down the isle.

With money on everyone’s minds lately, it is no small wonder that even brides are scaling back on their weddings. One way to save a few dollars is with a cheap wedding cake topper. There are many ideas out there; here are a few of the best.
If you are having a traditional wedding with both of you choosing a color, perhaps some silk flowers would make a nice touch. You might even go with edible flowers that are available in many grocers year-round. Just choose the flower you prefer in your color and when set upon the top of the cake it will be simply beautiful.
Another idea is to use beautiful silk or satin ribbons in the wedding colors, found at any hobby shop, and tie them together into a large, beautiful bow with long tails running down the sides of the cake. It would symbolize the unity of the newlyweds. Perhaps tie them around a Popsicle stick in order to secure the bow to the cake. Another version would be to have large white roses made of the frosting on top the cake surrounded by small bows in the wedding colors alternating around the top or even small ribbon roses.
A martini or wine glass on the top would give height to the topper and could be filled with floating flowers, colored marbles, round candies, or any combination in the wedding colors with ribbons or silk flowers around the base. A string of pearls glued to the edge of the glass would dress it up nicely.
Often at hobby stores you can find wedding cake topper forms that you can affix beads, flowers or ribbons to. They even have small Styrofoam wreaths you can decorate with just about anything to make a beautiful, yet cheap wedding cake topper.
If you are insistent on locating a bride and groom, stop at the nearest dollar store. They often have bride and groom figurines for just a dollar apiece. You can set these on the cake or glue them to a plastic disc with various flowers for a little traditional color.
No matter which of these cheap wedding cake toppers you choose to use, they shouldn’t cost more than five dollars and will be a wonderful way to celebrate your special day.

When my husband and I got married we were on a tight budget. We wanted our wedding to be outstanding, but at the same time did not have a lot of money to spend. We decided to write down a plan and split our money accordingly. One of the biggest things we saved on was the wedding flowers. We both wanted real flowers, but did not want to spend a lot of money on them. We decided to go to a florist and see what our best options were. She actually had a lot of cheap wedding flowers available, and the more you bought the more you saved. We picked pink roses, which were in season and definitely priced right.
The white roses as a bouquet was extremely pricey, so by getting a light shade of pink we were able to save a few hundred dollars. We also chose single roses for the bridesmaids, instead of little bouquets. Our wedding florist suggested in order to make cheap wedding flowers, you can stick with one single rose and fill it with inexpensive baby's breath. She showed us pictures and we were very satisfied.
Our picks were surely cheap wedding flowers, but by the arrangement you could not have known that we did not spend a lot of money. Remember presentation is everything, if you have a skilled florist and someone who is willing to work within your budget they can do wonders. You do not necessarily have to pick what is in the book, you can make your own arrangements and save big on money. Our florist showed us substitute flowers. Just like any other expensive thing, such as purses and shoes, you can find knock off wedding flowers.
We were able to stay well within budget and still have the flowers we wanted. In fact, everyone commented on our cheap wedding flowers, not that they looked cheap, but made the wedding glow.
